At DUO Engineering Services, we can offer a variety of machining and fabrication services, specialising in the manufacture and refurbishment of rollers and shafts.

Based in Greater Manchester, we have produced rollers and shafts for various industries including the paper, film, and vinyl industries. We can manufacture new rollers and shafts to any specification requested, and to any tolerance required.

Services we currently offer are:

  • Turning (4000mm x 580mm Diameter)

  • Milling (1200mm x 600mm x 500mm)

  • Drilling

  • Welding (Tig/Mig)

  • Fabrication

  • Dynamic Balancing

  • Static Balancing

  • Carbon/Glass Fibre Bodied Rolls

  • Double-Shell Cooling/Heating Rolls

We can also provide chrome plated, anodised and ground rollers to suit your requirements.

 

In addition to this, we also offer a repair service for both rollers and shafts, such as replacement journal ends, the refurbishment of any worn areas such as bearing and seal diameters. We also offer both dynamic and static balancing to all our customers where required.

At DUO, we are always expanding our machining capabilities and can currently turn large diameter components such as plates up to a diameter of 1100mm. we can also mill keyways, rough out components, and finish turn components to suit your needs.
